Character Creation

  1. Roll 3d6 6 times in order (Str, Dex, Con, Int, Wis, Cha)
  2. You may set one stat to 14.
  3. Pick a background (p9) and gain its starter skill at zero.
  4. Pick Skills
    1. You first get the skill at zero. If you get the same skill again, it's now 1.
    2. It can't go above 1 in chargen, so if you get the same skill yet again, it instead turns into an "Any Skill" pick.
    3. "Any Skill" excludes psychic powers.
    4. "Any combat" means your choice of stab, shoot, punch.
    5. "Any Stat" can't raise it above 18. a "+2 any __ stat" can be both on one or one on two stats.
    6. Find your backgrounds' tables and choose skills by one of three methods:
      1. Table Rolls: You get three rolls to distribute on Growth and/or Learning.
      2. Player Choice: You get only two picks, and they only come from Learning.
      3. Quick Skills: each background has three default skills. The only decision to make is picking "Any __"
