- Are activated as units, but don't have confidence levels.
- if it suffers "lose 1 confidence", it gains one suppression instead.
- if it suffers -2 confidence, it gains panic.
- when an individual rolls a nat one during panic removal, they lose their nerve and quit the game.
- may merge into a unit if within Integrity.
- May act as leader if fictionally appropriate.
- May decide to move/shoot/etc as part of the unit on a per-activation basis.
- When merged unit is attacked, is just as likely to be hit as any trooper.
- When not merged, range is shifted up one in direct fire. (shifting past d12 makes shot impossible.) Not applicable to area-effects.
Snipers
- When merged and firing as a support weapon during Fire Small Arms, does not get to pick a sniped target.
